Feast day of Saint Carlo Acutis

NewsMonday 12/10/2026
Today, 12 October, marks the feast day of Saint Carlo Acutis. Known as the first millennial saint, his life offers a unique reflection on how faith and technology intersect.
Born in London in 1991 and raised in Milan, Carlo was a typical teenager who loved gaming, sports, and computer programming. He used his self-taught coding skills to build a website cataloguing Eucharistic miracles and Marian apparitions worldwide, aiming to make these accounts easily accessible to everyone.
Diagnosed with acute leukaemia, Carlo passed away in 2006 at just 15. His legacy continues to inspire young people and digital creators, demonstrating how modern tools can serve purpose and community. On his feast day, we celebrate his creative spirit and lasting contribution.
