MEET THE BOARD

St Albert’s College operates under the sole membership of the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Armidale and maintains a strong affiliation with the University of New England (UNE). Governance is overseen by the St Albert’s College Board, established in December 2014, which is responsible for guiding the College's overall development and strategic direction. The Board is composed of six members, five of whom hold voting powers.

    Associate Professor in the School of Humanities at the University of New England. Lecturer in Modern European History.

    Parent of St Alberts alumnus. Former UNE staff member.

    Principal of Stephen A Maher & Co. Stephen has over 30 years’ experience in chartered accountancy and is committed to professional development.

    Bénédicte Uphill
    B.A (Classics – Lille, France) Assoc. Deg. Th. (Pontifical Lateran University, Rome), MRes Classics, Med (Lyon, France)
    Bénédicte has taught in primary, secondary, tertiary and adult educational institutions for over ten years. She has been head of a languages faculty and recently co-founded a tutoring agency with a focus on Classical Christian education. Informed by her personal experience of university and college residential life, Bénédicte wants to see Saint Albert's students realise their formative years fruitfully.
